What might make this invitation fail?
An idea can sound persuasive while it stays in the room. Put it next to a host, a budget, a first-time participant and a reason to return. Find the assumption most likely to break before choosing what to build.
QUESTION FOR THE ROOM
Who might this leave out, what could the host refuse, and what would prove the promise wrong?
- Exercise
- Use Keep / Break / Unlock on each route. Compare its fit with the fieldnotes, value to participants and the local scene, room for authorship and care, and the proof you could realistically gather. Write down the weakest assumption first.
- Expected output
- A challenged shortlist, the critical assumption and the learning needed to resolve it.
- Presenter notes
- A score can organise a discussion. It cannot turn an untested idea into evidence.
